Mito Civic Center 水戸市民館設計プロポーザル Civic Hall, Competition Mito, 2016
水戸市民館設計プロポーザルで、コンサートホール、多目的ホール、ギャラリー、部活動や課外活動のための練習室、レストランやショップからなる複合施設を提案しました。私たちは市民館を、大きな建築ではなく、小さな家の集合として提案を行いました。日本では「公共」はみんなのものであり、個人のものではないという意識がありますが、ここでは、みんなが自分のものとして使える、親しみを感じるスケールを集合させることで、街並みのような建築をつくることを目指しました。
This proposal is for the competition of Civic Hall in Mito City including Concert hall, multi hall, gallery, studios and shops. We proposed to make this civic hall as assembled small houses which allow to everyone use as their second home instead of having big “civic hall”. And we thought that it became a architecture as a city.
