Sento (Public Bath) Exhibition ご近所のぜいたく空間 “ 銭湯 ♨ ” Bath-House, Exhibition
栗生はるかが代表を務める地域団体、文京建築会ユース（BKY）が継続的に行っている銭湯保存活動を展示した展覧会「ご近所のぜいたく空間 “ 銭湯 ♨ ”」展を2013年11月06日（水）〜11月17日（日）に谷中Hagisoで行いました。歴史ある東京の銭湯がどんどん経営難に陥り廃業していく中で、貴重な文化としての保存を訴えながら、銭湯の実測を行った記録や、BKYで制作した写真集、銭湯ならではのグッズ等を、銭湯を模した展示デザインと共に展示しました。
Social Action Network “BKY” lead by Haruka Kuryu has exhibited “Preservation of Bath House in Tokyo” from Nov 06 to Nov 17 2013 in Hagiso, Yanaka, Tokyo.They exhibited their drawing of traditional bath house, Photo collection, Movie and goods in the space designed as look like original bath house. They are keep working to preserve the Bath House as a typical Tokyo’s traditional culture which is on the verge of extinction.
